Brand Name Prescriptions can be obtained only through samples or Drug Assistance Programs from the prescribing doctors.
Generic Prescriptions can be obtained by presenting your SharedCare Card to a Kroger’s, Nye’s, Bagnal’s, Pace’s, or Loris Drug Store with $2.00 co-pay per prescription.
Referrals to Specialists can be made by any SharedCare doctor. Specialists will be assigned by one of our sign-up sites. Presentation of your SharedCare Card will result in no charge or a reduced fee.
X-rays requested by your SharedCare doctor should be taken to Conway, Loris or Grand Strand Hospitals. Your SharedCare Card will allow the test to be done unless Prior Approval or preparation is required resulting in a delay.
Lab Tests are most often done in your SharedCare doctor’s office for a reduced or no charge. If not, you must go to Conway, Loris or Grand Strand Hospital.
Outpatient procedure or surgery is scheduled by your SharedCare Specialist and will usually be done at Conway, Loris or Grand Strand Hospital. The hospital will cover the first $1,000. Any remaining charges will be billed after recovery in affordable monthly payments.
Physical Therapy can be arranged by you by calling 293-7713 for an Initial Evaluation. When you appear for the evaluation you will need to present the SharedCare doctor’s Request.
