| What SharedCare is and is NOT
Some people confuse the role of SharedCare. It may be best to start by explaining
what we are NOT. SharedCare is NOT:
- A replacement for existing help.
- A health care provider.
- An insurance program.
- A payer source.
Our goal is to act as a clearinghouse to:
- Give the uninsured a medical home and
- Direct them to available health care resources they need.
- Help coordinate hundreds of medical and health care organizations
and individuals who can provide care to the uninsured.
